Amazing food experience. The dishes are very delicious and the servings are surprisingly large. We were not able to finish everything we ordered due to the large servings. The lumpia and the oyster omelet (owachian) is highly recommended.

Whenever a restaurant calls itself the best, or famous, I'm always curious to see if it's real. In the case of Davao Famous, I'd say it's ok. The service was great. The food was typical of a Filipino-Chinese Food, that's been in existence for generations. If you're looking for authentic mainland style cuisine, this isn't your place. But if your looking for Chinese food that you grew up with, this place lives up to their claim of being Davao Famous(I guess).

Ordered combo A (4pcs lumpia shanghai, chopsuey, rice and soup) for 240. It was worth it.

I used to eat at this place and I remember the food being really good. But I was a bit disappointed that although the physical store has been improved, the food taste sadly has not been maintained. The lechon kawali was not the usual crispy popping skin, melty fat, and tender meat. It looked and tasted like ordinary fried pork. The pork and shrimp lomi was not the usual eggy and thick. The service was sooo slow and the bill had to be corrected because it included a cancelled item. My rating is three stars only because the place is still nostalgic.
