Place - It's along the main highway. Open dining but not to humid inside as there's good ventilation. Plenty of space. Choose your own table. Ambient lighting. Service - Accommodating and friendly staff, always smiling. Even said thanks as we were leaving. Food - On par with some of the well known samgyup restos. Buffet style. For the unli wings, just tell the staff if you want to get another batch. They will serve it personally. Recommendation: Lack of big plates. Not sure if they just weren't available at the time of our visit or not available at all but it would be good if they also hav…
I recently visited Dear Samgyup 199 on June for my daughter baptismal party and I wanted to share my experience. The food was absolutely delicious! I particularly loved the unlimited beef and Pork , korean chicken which was perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, both inside and out, making it the perfect setting for our celebration. Overall, we had a fantastic time, and I highly recommend Dear Samgyup199 to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion with fr…
Good to try, but not worth repeating. We went there at night, and they still had a lot of customers. The area was spacious and al fresco. - The buffet area for the side dishes was unsanitary - Asking for a spoon took a while... even getting a glass with ice took some time. - Their staff members were nice, but we noticed they werent very attentive. We wanted to ask for the bill, but again, it took time for them to come to us. Overall, the food was great and tasted good. The place just needs to be cleaner, especially the buffet and drinks area.
I’m honestly baffled by the good reviews this restaurant has. Both the pork and beef are overly fatty, the kimchi tastes stale—almost spoiled—and the flavors overall are disappointing. The sauce is too overpowering, and the side dishes feel underwhelming despite being part of a buffet. The biggest letdown, though, was the cheese, which tasted more like milk with barely any actual cheese flavor. This place is a waste of money. If you’re looking for good food and a satisfying experience, trust me—this isn’t it. Spend your money elsewhere. This is not worth it.
Don’t go here at peak hours, they are understaffed and can’t handle much costumers. Staff are snubby when asked for something. Not worth it to try their unli beef, kasi they serve ONLY when requested. You need to wait for LONGGGG time just to get one serving of beef. Also the buffet table is a MESS!! So far, this is the worst service I have experienced, lost my appetite waiting for our table to be transferred (we requested to transfer because the ceiling fan affects the frame of the butane stove). And they even get aggressive when asked if they can turn off the fan.
