District One

Great find in BGC - huge place on the 2nd floor. Relaxing ambience for lunch meetings as people are quite limited when we had lunch.

Evenings they have different bands every night and they serve alcoholic drinks for every taste and budget.

Good food - salad was excellent, the crispy pata was great, and the Tapsilog and DaingsiLog had generous servings.

Attentive staff and accepts Cash and Credit Cards.

Open pay parking is a stone's throw away, and very walkable.

We enjoyed the ambience, food, and the view. The staff were very welcoming. Each food item was prepared well and the serving size was more than average. Would recommend to go here at night when they have guest artists.

Thanks to FB posts of other foodies, we learned about District One at BGC. And so when we were around the area, we decided to give it a try. We did not explore the place anymore but I think they have a lot wider second floor than the cramped ground floor. But since we had a baby stroller with us, we were limited to just the first floor (no elevator). We ordered Tapsilog, Longsilog and Tocilog. Of the three, my favorite is the Tapsilog. Their recipe is a little saucy but I didn't mind because the sauce tasted very much like the tapa meat but in liquid form. The longganisa came in bite size pie…

Titos and Titas' Bar: The food is okay, and the atmosphere wasn’t bad. However, the service we experienced was awful. The staff seemed out of sync with their current promotion. Also, note that there are door charges in addition to the ticket price for their show. You are required to consume at least 1,000 pesos per person.

This wouldn’t have been a problem if it had been communicated upfront. We ended up placing last-minute orders to-go just to meet the required amount. It was a frustrating situation when we tried to raise this issue with the waiter.
