Place has a common ambiance, nothing special. Clean place with sufficient space and lighting. Utensils are limited and kinda weird since it is all bowl-like stainless. No flat wares. Sufficient staff are ready to assist you should you need anything. They will also assist you on how to cook the food. Sides are RTE. However, chicken and the like are already cold. Maki/rolls are not fresh since it has been in an open space for long. Japchae is cold and lumpy. Limited sides. The only available ice cream is ube, no other flavors. Drinks are just okay. Water is fine, spirit of drinks is gone. I…
[Non halal] Food was just fine ordinary. Service wise it wasn't up to my filipino engagement service soup refill needed to be requested. Bill for 2 pax and 1 infant children was ard php1,198 if I remember correctly.
They will only give you few plates/containers, so you will tend to mix the dry and wet food options. Even the utensils, you will end up using the same set for the desserts (not that they have a lot of options). The ingredients for hotpot are not that fresh. The shrimp is not clean. Beef has smell already. Mostly sticky rice based balls. Limited option for the noodles too. The Japchae is overcooked and not properly seasoned. Although it is inside the mall, there were some flies hovering the ingredients but the staff are not doing anything. Several choices for the soup base. Several options …
This was supposed to be my farewell dinner before I leave but ended up being disappointed. It was Sunday evening and not that busy. Rarely saw our server and the buffet was scanty. They don't regularly refill most of the dishes. We had to ask for the japchae a couple of times before they brought it out. Mostly empty platters of fried chicken. I should have read previous reviews before deciding to dine here. Oh and the restrooms were stinky and dirty with trash bin overflowing 🤢
I find that koreans use too many plates when esting. It is a completely opposite experience in dooki. We even got only one container for all the food we want to put in the hotpot. Super small plate, smaller than a saucer. You use that for wet food, fried food, and dessert. They dont have all the food they advertised. Their ice tea area has water on one of the two dispenser. For the softdrinks, only 2 of the 5 were working. Mug, 7 up and mountaindew marked sold out. I asked about the cheese and they said we had to pay 199 to get it. I didnt ask anymore if that is per person. I asked about the …
