As the Koreans refer to as " healing time", I went out as a way to chill and have a time for myself, I went to Festival Mall in Alabang. It was lunchtime and I decide to check out Ducup, this K - fast food chain owned by Ryan Bang, a Korean celebrity host & comedian. Actually, I've been trying their food in two separate occasions. The first time I had the Ramyeon. I picked Shim Ramyeon from a multiple choices of commercial Ramyeon you see in the K- grocery. Gave this a shot because we needed a quick meal that’s not too pricey. While it isn’t as pricey, the quality of the food isn’t that good. It’s not the worst but definitely not the best. If you want a meal that can fill you up, their food can do the trick. But you might not enjoy the overall quality. Very so-so. Overhyped, sadly. No one was eating where we dined in. The food is sad looking, actually. A bed of rice with some few noodles strands japchae on top almost just like garnish. Went to Alabang branch to hoping to try this dish. However it was too early that at 630pm, their menu was almost unavailable. Only 2 meals are being sold. How come they were soldout on a weeknight but there were no full of people inside. Plus they do not accept cashless transactions. What a dismay! You will be behind in this generation of technology if you don't keep up. Also, can you at least order or make an inventory of enough food for the whole day so you can still accommodate customers at night?
