One my favorite restaurant when it comes to fried chicken is El Pollo Loco. Not the typical Filipino style seasoning they use which makes it unique and delicious. Glad the taste remained the same until now. And I also love the fried rice that goes with the chicken…
I recently dined at El Pollo Loco in Trinoma and had a mixed but overall enjoyable experience. I ordered the chicken and tostada salad for 395.00. While the two pieces of chicken were perfectly cooked, they lacked distinct flavor. The salsa was a highlight, offering a refreshing zest, and the cilantro was pleasantly subtle, enhancing the salad without overwhelming it. The tostada was a delightful crunch amidst the greens. The true star of my meal, however, was the pollo macaroni soup priced at 125.00. This dish was rich and flavorful, with a comforting blend of spices that made it the highli…
Every time we visit El Pollo Loco, the servings keep getting smaller. Still, the chicken tastes great and so does the salsa. But the same cannot be said for the coleslaw, which is too sweet and has overly thick sauce. The nachos is another letdown. The chips are so hard that when they break, they might cut your upper palate.
We ordered the burrito, cheese & garlic quesadilla, and the chicken with salad and rice. The burrito had A LOT of rice and it was too saucy for me. The chicken tasted exactly like "chooks-to-go". BUUUTTT the salad was outstanding. 👌 The service was ok. Overall, i was a bit underwhelmed. 😕
This is the endless chicken. I think it might be better to call it endless sadness chicken. 2 pieces of really small chicken that tastes like Chooks to Go. What's endless is the rice which is really nothing special. They won't even serve extra salsa. + Coke zero. This meal costs Php 454. I am never coming back.
