Elars (with an S) is located at the basement of the new GH mall. They're still getting started so they're just accepting cash at the moment. Place is small and there are some seats. Ordering is just via the counter, so there is a line up sometimes, as a lot of people order take out. The lechon meal is P220, and is really good. Size is just right. Quarter kilo is 400, the fresh lumpia is also delicious.
Fastfood type service so order and pay for what you order at the counter. Best lechon in NCR in my opinion. Eat the lechon asap. It won’t taste as good if left for two hours or more (if you plan to take home). They have different menu items per day. Check the menu.
Ang sarap, I get it now! Crunchy salty skin and tasty laman. They serve sarsa also. Getting a table for dine in at peak hours is a challenge since they only have a few tables. We ate here around 11-ish on a non-payday weekend and we waited for some time for a table. Takeout would be a great idea or eat during lean hours for a better experience siguro. Highly recommended!
i really don’t get the hype around their lechon.. it was quite bland for my taste. but their blue marlin tanigue was the best fish salpicao i’ve ever tried. it was super soft, packed with flavor, and really stood out.
