I've tasted a variety of kikiam in the past and the one here at Eng Lay Hiong is special because its bigger and much meatier than any other kikiam I've tried. Though this one is not as savory, it has its own unique taste, not so bland, not so savory.
The place is kind'a discouraging though. It basically looks just like your ordinary "karenderia" or eatery. However, if you need a quick bite away from the crowdy Colon Street, this place is a great hunger getaway.
