Good place to enjoy Ilocano food, especially the famous empanada. One of the few places in Manila which can come close to the empanadas in Ilocos.

Delicious! When you place your order that's only the time they will prepare and cook your meal. They serve it fresh and hot. Prices are very affordable.

Worst ilocos empanada branch. I ordered two empanada last September 12, 2022 around 2:10 - 2:20 in the afternoon and left for a while, and after a while my take out is complete. But when I arrived at home I noticed that they gave me a prepackaged heated empanada instead of freshly made. To the ilocos empanada staff please dont be lazy practice made to order, and not an advance na ipapainit nyo na lang. The worst is I dunno if how many times and date they heated it, the wrapper is very hard and crisp to chew and taste like oil. I got diarrhea for one day after eating.

I missed the Batac's empanada so I tried Fariñas empanada both from One Bonifacio High Street and Quezon Ave branch and ended up disappointed. Two things that I don't like about their empanada (pricey for its small size and the shredded papaya are so hard!)

Ordered empanada take out at around 8:30 am Sept 19, 2024 (West Ave Branch) Nag additonal order kame sa take away namin, but si ate na naka duty was rude. Seems like she doesn’t want to take the additional order and gave us that look of annoyance Food is decent though. Not the ilocos empanada we are hoping but it will do. Needs PR training for the service crew
