The first time we tried Tim Ho Wan was here at Gateway. It's all good it's just that nothing special with the taste. We ordered hakaw, porked buns, noodles especially the jade wonton soup it's a must try. Their yang chow fried rice with pork is good for 2 pax as my boyfriend and I shared with it. The service is not that slow since we only waited for less than 20 minutes as far as I remember, for our food to be completed. The staffs were attentive but, the others were not. Understandable since there were many customers at that time so we let it slide that the other staff would just walked pas…

Food is okay though we can tell that its quality is different compared with their other branches. Service is average, servers were attentive. Serving time should be improved. My colleagues had almost finished their meal when mine arrived. Since its new, atmosphere is looks spacious, bright, and clean.

Tim HoWan at Gateway Mall 2 offers a variety of delicious dim sum options. We ordered the hakaws and several other dim sum dishes, all of which were tasty and well-prepared. However, the service was noticeably slow, and the air conditioning was not sufficient, making it quite hot inside. The restaurant is still a good spot for dim sum lovers, but be prepared for a bit of a wait and a warm dining environment.

We went there for Mother’s Day Dimsum. The chicken feet is rubbery. The yangchow rice is not well made like making something at home without the right ingredients. And for some reason, the rice is always served last.
