Fish & Co. is definitely back in Shangri-la Mall! We super miss this! We experienced our order not being placed into the system. We waited for 30 minutes before someone asked us if we ordered already. They just said sorry and nothing else. The best fish and chips are still good though. The breading was really crispy and flavorful while the fish was soft and tender. It is really good with the tartar sauce. Note: For those who experienced lemon butter sauce on the fish and chips before, you now have to ask for it or else it will not be given. Try it if you haven't! A recently reopened branch. This is by far my favorite restaurant chain for Fish and Chips. They don't have just the classic; but variations in the sauces. Their Clam Chowder was very satisfying. And the Classic Fish and Chips was the best I've had in the country. It was so flaky; and seasoned right. Fish and Chips is practically their trademark, and specialty. The Lapu-lapu Fish Filet Curry, however, was disappointing. They serve good food, if they serve it to you. The first few items came in about 20mins since we ordered. Then came 40min mark we the seafood rice was still not being served, we to follow up twice. Then the pork belly or pork chop with shrimp rice never came. We were already done and lost our appetite and we just went ahead pay the bill. Server didn’t care even though we brought it up nor the manager didn’t even bother to give an apology. Overall food taste good (kudos to the kitchen) but service has a lot of room to improve on.
