Excellent Filipino dishes! It's delicious, and I'm glad everything we ordered was no regret. It's a bit pricey, but it's worth it. The most recommended dish is the Beef Shortribs Caldereta. It's tender and rich. The Beef Salpicao and the Yin Yang Sisig were delicious. The Benny's Special Monggo was indeed special and a must-try. All the dishes were served hot; even the steamed rice was smoking hot. Big servings Service was great.
My first time here after being recommended my my colleague whom said its his childhood dining place. I had the porkchop (395) and garlic rice (95) and a halo halo (225). The porkchop were very flavourful however its maybe because I am a super taster so it felt like super salty for me. The porkchop is dry and not juicy. The garlic rice is as expected. Halo halo overall is very classic however the shaved ice is way too coarse. Wish that it can finer to be more enjoyable. I would think there are better place out there that may serve better porkchop - juicier i hope.
The batchoy was hearty and filling. It was good but for me it lacked that strong garlic taste that batchoy has. The siomai with sisig was delicious but it just tasted like any other siomai. The pandesal with the Tortang Talong and puto bumbong were excellent though 👍 The wait staff are all friendly and professional.
Great food! Its menu is a fusion of Asian, American, and European cuisines. We love the adobo rice—rice submerged in delicious adobo sauce with some pork and chicken adobo toppings. The liempo is top-quality bbq goodness! The monggo soup was perfectly cooked! It was no surprise that regular clients populate the restaurant. I’ve noticed many visit for its bibingka which is great for merienda. The rating deserves a five for its dishes however it’s bathroom needs maintenance and hygienic upkeep.
Went for a supposed quick meal. Tried since its the nearest sit down place from the entrance which is why pregnant wife chose it. We ordered their Arroz Caldo, Okoy, and Tapa. One would think it would be quick(er) since none of these are main dishes but it still took them around 25 minutes to serve. Serving size and taste was okay, but nothing to write home about considering the cost. Waiter also wasn’t great. Felt like I ate in a turo-turo instead of a restaurant. Would recommend going elsewhere to find a better place to eat.
