Fukudaya is one of the best restaurants I have experienced. Their service is unsurpassed. The quality is better than what you can get on the street in Tokyo. In the Philippines, service and quality in restaurants are very difficult to find. You won’t have that problem here. Side note: I live in the tower here so I’ve been to this restaurant a hundred times in the last year. So this review is based on consistent experience.
I always pass by the memorial area and often see Fukudaya, but never had an opportunity to try it as it was quite far from most of the food hubs in BGC. Decided to try and have dinner here with my boyfriend and had great food. We opted to dine in the resto instead of al fresco as I am not a fan of the afternoon heat. Food was great, and service was great, too. Really appreciated the freshly cooked dishes they served. A gem of a Japanese restaurant hidden away from the busy areas of BGC. What we ordered, fresh seafood, warm broth, delicate dessert made us satisfied for the night. Although experience unfortunately ruined by cockroach crawling on the couch
Japanese casual dining resto with revolving offers / specials A very varied and authentic menu using local and imported ingredients. Typical lunch sets. Happy hour and drinks offers also available. Service is prompt. Interiors are cozy and casual with limited seats by a visible kitchen. Ideal for small groups and office worker style night dining.
Totally not worth the trip. We came in with high expectations but disappointed with the food. If their food is some kind of fusion, i don’t get the hype. Bland flavor. Stale crispy garlic on a sashimi. Miso soup is the only food we enjoyed. I got full drinking service water
