experience: I went to try this pizzeria/restaurant. the area seems touristy, the restaurant has outdoor tables and the food is entirely prepared. we ate a margherita for two and drank two local beers. very low cost, pizza 321 pesos and beer 80 per bottle, total paid 481 really low. what to say? it is not advisable for many reasons. The first is cleanliness, the second is quality, let me explain, if the pizza was edible but cooked very badly, it was dry and not cooked. the tables are arranged, the table is not cleaned upon your arrival although it has a plastic cover, therefore easily punish…
Summary: the food is ok but nothing special. Qualifier: I'm writing this from the point of view of a foreigner who has traveled extensively, including in NYC and throughout Italy and France, where the "best" pizzas and pastas are found. For the Philippines, and specifically for Mactan where there are fewer choices, I'm giving this 4/5 stars. It's a step above normal Filipino pizza and pasta (no sweet spaghetti here), and barely above international chains like Dominos or Pizza Hut, but it's not amazing. If this were just across the bridge in Cebu City it would only get a 3.5, and in Manila…
I went to the restaurant to order takeout. A large house pizza (asked for no eggplant, but they put it on the pie) with a spaghetti bolognese. I took it home and the pizza was a 4 out of 5 (even with the eggplant). They are a little shy on the toppings though, you’d think on a large pizza they would have more than 5 slices of pepperoni. The spaghetti bolognese tastes like old oil, I don’t know how else to explain it. After watching the kitchen while I waited for the take away. It’s because they don’t wash the pans for the pasta in between orders, so you get the oil from the previous orders. S…
Toppings were great, ordered extra onions. Vegetarian pizza. Dough can be improved to make it softer. Was little hard. Enjoyed it! Little hot outside maybe more fans can be added.
Food was good. It was not great but it was filling and served warm. We had the meat lovers pizza and lasagna combo meal with soda. My expectations were not very high but was glad that we got freshly made pizza and oven baked lasagna. The hot sauce is not "hot" at all (or maybe I was used to a different kind of spicy). The white sauce was not recognizable as either béchamel or ricotta. Overall, it was a good alternative if you want to eat something that is not the staple rice and meat common in the area.
