If you’re looking for something that would remind you of Tokyo without spending a lot, then Go Bento is a good choice. Don’t expect full-on Japanese flavors, but I think what they serve is pretty decent, in terms of taste, price, and serving size. The place was also bright and inviting, to say the least. The design was inspired by Japanese train stations, you’ll miss Japan all the more (if you’ve been there).
Food is ok considering the price. Im rating it a 3 but bordering on 4. I love that the vibe here is like in Japan. They even have background sound effect of a train station. It’s like you hear the trains come and go. One time we came in on a not so busy time, just after opening, and so we were the only customers. The staff could be trained more on keeping their voices low. They were practically shouting while having casual conversations. It just ruin the vibe knowing that in Japan they take their customer service very seriously.
I had the Spicy Karaage Ramen. Not bad for its price. Gyoza is okay. Matcha soft serve is a must. Staff are nice.
