Had cravings for Halo-Halo, a popular cold dessert in the Philippines and our friend highly recommends Chowking Halo-Halo. She was right, the Halo-Halo which comes in two sizes regular and small was so refreshingly good. Disclaimer: This review is about Chowking in general, and not necessarily about their Glorietta branch. It’s been a while since we ate at Chowking, but I noticed how the price of their Beef Wanton Noodles has increased to 210 pesos. It’s now less than a hundred pesos less than Luk Yuen’s, Northpark’s, and David Tea House, and oh boy how disappointing the experience was. They jacked up the price but the taste, QUANTITY, and overall QUALITY was abysmal. Frankly, it tasted like a 50 peso experience. I had a disappointing experience at Chowking. I arrived at 8:15 PM and the menu was limited, so I ordered the Fried Siomai Chow Fan. Despite getting a number ticker, the cashier didn't provide a receipt. After waiting 30 minutes, I discovered my order was dispatched incorrectly. I left hungry and frustrated, vowing never to return to any Chowking branch again.

Manager was on her phone at the front and we thought she would be serving and just gave a dirty to my mother and ended up lining up to another server at the cashier. Disgusting customer srrvice behaviour.
