The food here was superb. We ordered congee, fried rice with chicken chops, mushroom dumplings and steamed buns. I almost forgot the jasmine tea which was refillable. The staffs were very accomodating and they give you the menu including a checklist wherein you will choose your order. Our orders were just right. Not too salty which we prefer. The only downside was the poor mobile network signal inside. I hope this get to be addressed in the future. All in all, we will go back here.

Shi Lin never fails to satisfy my Chinese/Taiwanese craving. Nothing too much to say about this, cause I obviously really like Shi Lin. I have several reviews about Shi Lin, so if you’re looking for suggestions about this place, browse through my reviews. If you’re looking for a great Taiwanese restaurant, I highly recommend Shi Lin.

A small restaurant at level 2 of glorietta 2. Very simple interior as well. Menu consist of Taiwanese and Chinese inspired dishes. Ordered Double Boiled Beef Soup, Fried Chicken Chop, Spring Beans with Minced Pork, Xiao Long Bao, Crispy Prawn Cakes and a bottle of Beer. The Double Boiled Beef Soup was really flavourful with the soft beef meat inside. Love the spring beans with minced pork, too. With the exception of the fried chicken chop, I find that the flavors are lacking. The service was quite fast in terms of ordering and serving of the food.

It's basically a Chinese restaurant though I wouldn't say they are they are really authentic in terms of taste.i find that their deep-fried squid with salt and pepper isn't quite tasty as the oil was rancid and the batter isn't the best for their crispness.in fact I had to exchange for their desserts like almond jelly with lichens and their steam custard buns which in fairness is rather nice.i also ordered their xiao long bao which was fairly tasty.They really do need a revamp of their interiors which was rather dim and dingy.The rest like stir-fried spinach,cold tofu and century egg appetiz…
