Probably the one & only authentic Italian cafe in Metro Manila. The only place in Makati where I could get a proper Italian coffee. Sucks that Filipinos don't even know this hidden gem and they are mostly flocking in Starbucks to drink their horribly sweet coffee.

Was missing the espressos I enjoyed so much during our Rome vacation. Tried those from the usual commercial coffee shops but none were as good. Enter Goppion. Just chanced upon this small shop on my way to Fairmont hotel. Decided to try it out and ordered a doppio espresso. It was quite good! A whole lot better than those from SB. Got intrigued and googled the shop & saw that it really traces its roots in Italy. The sole barista was also very accommodating enough to answer all my questions especially about the beans they were selling. Happy to find an authentic Italian coffee shop in the hear…

Best latte I’ve had in Makati over the six weeks I’ve been here. There is a real dearth of good coffee shops here, mostly just mediocre chains. Recommend. It’s located in Glorietta.

Good coffee, opens as early as 7am. I love the mildly sweet thick creamy delicious cioccolatta! The four cheese panini was also good. Most of the food I was able to try were mildly flavored except for the lasagna and the pizza dip. They will also have all day breakfast menu items soon
