Great spot for grilled food at really good prices as well in Maginhawa enclave in Quezon City. They grill barbecues, fish, squids and chicken. Open air, it could be a little hot at times due to the grill. But if you dont care, then the food is fresh and is a no-nonsense belly filler. Try it out!

Grill Queen is another grilling restaurant/eatery after Shao Kao grillery. While Grill Queen broil seafood items, Shao Kao grills that include vegetable items (potatoes, string beans, etc). It is located in Maginhawa Dt. near the strip of Masinsinan St. leading to CP Garcia Avenue and near the Teachers Village Barangay Hall. They know how to grill, that's for sure. But I was surprised that they served Sinigang as well. And the staff cooked are food fast enough to make our lunch break. The bangus was deliciously marinated. The tofu was not tofu; it was tokwa (a bit disappointed with this). The chicken innards were grilled to perfection. The grilled stuffed squid tasted great. The pork ribs was also grilled before it got burned. The sinigang tasted like sinigang mix and had little to no salmon meat despite it being Sinigang na Salmon. Well, you get what you pay for.

It's our favorite ihawan place before. But when I returned here, the quality of the food was different. They served the food cold, especially the rice. Liempo meet is not tender and the grilled squid is not as tasty as before.

Grill Queen is right on the street near the barangay hall. What can expect from this place? Delicious grilled seafood, pork and chicken and even sausages (longanisa). You can buy these by the stick then combine it with rice for a yummy meal. Prices are cheap. The dining area is open air and parking is street parking.
