Very nice/clever plating and presentation of what is otherwise regular Filipino food. They use small aluminium “kawali” or woks instead of plates or bowls to serve their food. They also use diced tomatoes, kangkong, onions, as sidings to the cup of rice that comprises the core of the meals. Reasonably priced as well.
I had one ulam, one vegie, and one rice. The ulam and pansit are very salty. The papaitan soup is also salty. I gave 3 stars because the serving size is fair enough, and the employees/server are really nice.
Tried the "nilagang baka" there just now and I don't know why its too salty? Also the dish came with 2 pieces of petchay and a chunk of potato, thats all!!!!!!
Shout out HANDAAN Ermita Branch and Rob. Place Mall! Worst food here...we ate here yesterday. Our order is Sinigang fish head. It's like they know the food is hot and not fresh anymore. The smell of the rice porridge smells fishy, the smell of anchovies, then the taste of rice porridge is bitter, then the fish is itchy, then the color of the soup is dark. Then the soup they served had bubbles 😢🤢🤮 at first I thought maybe they cooked it differently but we couldn't stomach it. It took a long time for the food to lose its taste in our mouths. We were going to complain because we didn't want t…
Tasteless food..
