I hardly give five stars in my reviews but this restaurant deserves it. Sushi is fresh and selection is varied. If undecided what to order, get their set menu. Food is really good. The interior also is quaint, reminiscent of old Japan. We had a stress free meal. The servers were alert to our needs but did their duties quietly. Even when clearing the tables.
Small quaint full service Japanese restaurant with sashimi, sushi, main meals and my fave, Temaki. What's good? Beef Yakiniku, very flavorful Beef Teppanyaki Katsu Curry Ebi Tempura, light and tasty California Temaki, fresh and big size Just ok Chawan Mushi, lots of ingredients but I prefer more flavor from the egg base Service was very cheery and attentive Best of all, they accept reservations
Amazing dining experience! I love how quick they served our food - super efficient ❤️ Everything we ate was so good. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be the soft shell crab. It was light, crispy, and had the right amount of seasoning. I also enjoyed the spicy salmon maki! Am not a fan of creamy sauces, pero they added the right amount of it and it nicely complements with the salmon. Ang sarap! Can’t believe we’ve been skipping this place for quite some time (parking space is limited).
Haru was a pleasant surprise with its intricate décor and amazing food selections. This Japanese Restaurant has been in the Kapitolyo area for a while now and even survived the pandemic era which is a testament to their food and loyalty from their customers. Their menu is quite diverse including standard Japanese meals like tempura, maki, donburi, and tonkatsu and likewise have soup-based dishes offering a great diversity of ramen options. Food was not as authentic but tasty and portions are decent. Service is excellent, staff are attentive and pleasant.
