Japanese
Talaingod, Davao del Norte
Visited the place last weekend. It wasn't crowded. The staffs were polite. I love their salmon sashimi, seafood chahan and tempura. The chicken curry ramen was okay. I do think it's good for 2 people. But IF you are hungry, you can have it all by yourself. Mabo Tofu was on point. I just hope there was an option to make it spicy. 😉 For the price, I think it's reasonable and it's similar to Cebu's Japanese restaurants. I'll definitely comeback and try other food listed on the menu.
You get what you’ve paid for. The ambience is great. Comfy and clean. Wide parking area as it is located in Damosa I.T Park. My fave is their shrimp fried rice.
Food is average. But for a Japanese food enthusiast, its a worth a try.
Overall experience it is good for a japanese restaurant. Food are ok. Their chicken oyakudon lack taste and the presentation needs alot of improvement. Yakitori is just pan seared cut up chicken. It should be grilled over charcoal to have that smoked chicken taste. Malasugi sushi is quite good. Fresh and good rice flavor. Charsui ramen, presentation wise its ok but could be improved. It also lack enough soup. By the time i have arrived at are table the noodles already absorbed it. Service are good.
This is the first time that I wrote a food review. If I could, I would give this restaurant a 0. This ramen was prepared after 45 minutes. I ordered ebi shiitake ramen, that says the ebi component is a tempura on top. I asked to put it on the side because I'm a vegetarian. When it arrived I asked for the shiitake in my ramen, because all they gave me were noodles and soup. They took it back and gave the exact same bowl and even asked if they could substitute pork because they ran out of shiitake. Photos are attached for reference.
