Delightful cozy, authentic Japanese restaurant on the 2nd floor of Herald Suites Hotel. If you want a quiet place to have lunch, this is it. Located in Little Tokyo and serves a lunch menu which will fill you up. The kitchen closes by around 2pm so come early. Traditional Japanese cuisine with more tatami tables but there's a few regular tables to choose from. Wish I could bring my mom here but it's not possible for people using wheelchairs. Note: no service charge during lunch. Only during dinner.
You know it's a good Japanese place when salarymen fill up the place. Sashimi is incredible, fresh and properly prepped. Nothing fancy here but food and service are top notch.
I’ve been to this Japanese restaurant and was really impressed with the kaiseki Matsu set we had. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and each dish was both creative and well-balanced, showing the chef’s talent and care. The service was also great—efficient and friendly, with staff who really knew their stuff. The restaurant itself was cozy and nicely decorated, and the crowd dining there added to the authentic atmosphere, making the experience even better. Overall, it was a fantastic meal, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a great Japanese dining experience.
