I recently had the chance to visit Holy Grounds Cafe, and it was definitely worth the walk from James L. Gordon just to check it out! I wanted to familiarize myself with the area, and this cafe turned out to be the perfect spot. The interior is super cozy, and the couch I sat on made me feel right at home. Loved their Ube Cheese Pandesal and Iced Cookie Butter Latte. Somewhat overpriced, but delicious. Their Red Velvet Cake was amateurish. Definitely not worth 210php.

Plenty of parking for starters. The coffee shop has a large dining area with natural lights all around from the large windows. Comfortable enough to grab a coffee or two and take a break from the hot weather. The Holy Grounds seems to come from the Christian perspective where God is present in the site rather than assuming the name refers to the grounds from the coffee. Bible verses and quotes are all over the place. Quite a pleasant and quiet place to chill. Having said that.. I did experience a bit of what people were saying about the staff. Carbonara : bland. Caramel macchiato: first impression - lasang mais. Not worth the price. I rarely waste food, but left more than half of both food and drink. Also, they gotta do something about their aircon. Apparently it has already been mentioned in past reviews, so clearly a persisting issue
