Marugame will always be that casual go-to for me. Serving size for rice meals is generous, and food is filling, with a good balance of your protein and carbs. I love how convenient ordering here is. I’m just not a huge fan of their sides and noodles, but overall enjoyable.

I always would order Curry Udon along with fried sweet potato or onsen egg. However, their sweet potato portion is a bit small and hard to bite due to being there for quite sometimes. Anyway, everything is fine and the udon is still taste delicious as the same. This is the latest location that opened in the area and finally it’s settled in Greenbelt if you want to try some Japanese udon noodles.

Really liked the restaurant because it has a nice atmosphere, an affordable menu for its looks and name, and great service. I ordered tendon and chicken katsudon. They taste great for their price. The serving is filling. My only note is that I wish they had vegetables for proper portioning.

Just sharing my experience with this restaurant earlier. I was about to leave and asked the crew named Mika if there’s a way I can take out my left over. She said there’s additional payment for the take out food for 30 pesos and told her ate can you just give me something even a paper bag so I can just put it in a tissue and will not walk out of the restaurant like this? When she got back she brought tissues only without a paper bag. I didn’t bother to ask again because honestly it was humiliating. 😂 However I still have used the tissue paper she gave me.
