The place would be nice during the cool weather of the Philippines. But on a hot and humid day, al fresco dining is not a pleasant experience. The spot is cool as you dine beside the canal with boats and swans passing. They Nachos serving and garnish is very generous. The flavour is good but would love to have more exploding flavors on that dish. The tacos has too much lettuce and too less of the pico de gallo (there's hardly any). Also no grated cheese on the tacos, just a line of sour cream (I think). Lacks flavor from your usual taco. The Combo Cinco (Pork BBQ Ribs, Onion Rings, Corn an…
We went here on a Monday evening and there were only a few other customers. I should’ve checked the reviews first because it was very telling of what to expect. My mom ordered Combo Tres. Aside from the missing sautéed chunky tomatoes and garlic in mango puree, the porkchop wasn’t tender. It was hard to slice even with a sharp knife. My sister ordered Combo Otso and it was missing the chicken strips. Had I not noticed the missing components of their meals, they wouldn’t have told us about their unavailability. In exchange, they gave us cheesy fries which I felt wasn’t equivalent. The Queso G…
Was expecting a lot based on the pictures on the posters. We ordered the Combo Uno, Combo Dos, and a Chili burger. The food was so-so. The chili burger was small and dry. the waiters were not attentive. If you're looking for a Mexican fix, the Taco Bell upstairs would be better. For a burger, you'd get more for the same price at Burger King nearby. The drinks (mango shake and cucumber lemonade) were good md reasonably priced.
The place has a relaxing view and appealing atmosphere. My reason for the 2 stars is the wait time, seriously there was 3 tables and I waited 40 minutes for 1 margarita. The food came out 1 hour later and the lack of customer service and the food is not tasty. For those of you looking for real Mexican food this is not the place. This is more tex mex as we call it in America. The corn tortillas are hard taco shells but the soft ones and there is no salsa it is ketchup and mayonnaise mixed.
I was really missing good mexican food so thought we would try this place out. It was a big mistake not to Google the restaurant and look at the review. The negative review are accurate. We ordered a burrito and a 10 oz rib eye steak and we were very disappointed. The burrito looks like a wrap filled (90%) with refried beans (from can) and rice. I asked for beef brisket and it was just pulled beef that looks like it came from frozen. The 10oz steak was $30 USD and it looks like it was pan cooked over the stove. The beef was of poor quality. We were really disappointed because this pl…
