I’m not from the South, but I was craving for some curry when I was visiting BF Homes, and i’m so glad I tried this place!!! The katsu curry was super good and they even asked for the spicy level of the curry which i really appreciated since I don’t like my curry very spicy. I also tried their carrot cheesecake!! It’s a must try! Will definitely visit this resto again!
Portions and unique food options! Great experience overall! Faves are Tuna Tataki, Panipuri, Chicken Katsu but appetizers are all good!
Happy to have tried this new restaurant! The flavors and textures of the pani puri ceviche were great, the fried chicken was spiced perfectly and it wasn’t oily, the butter chicken masala also had a good range of flavors too—miso soup, the sweet potato/ube mixed with the salad dressing, the 3 different kinds of picked vegetables, and the very rich curry. My only minor comment is there could be a bit more chicken, but not a deal breaker as overall the set was filling. Other comments—interior design was cute, staff were attentive, and lot of parking slots.
Delicious food and prepared well. Sulit servings too. Will come back for the Salty Bird Fried Chicken. Japanese curry missing its quintessential sweetness, though. Not the best Jap curry out there. Overall decent dining experience.
Portions are good for sharing, except I ate the wagyu chahan by myself cos I was really hungry lol! Really good fried rice wherein I tasted the wok hei. The mocheese is the best, and the chicken skin side is OK but not recommended if you’re watching your cholesterol level; dipping sauce is sweet. The XL katsu is BIG but only because it had too much breading and the pork was pounded flat to have more surface area for frying. Curry sauce with the katsu is really good. Will come back to try other items from the menu!
