I’ve been eating in Ilar’s during college when it was along Piy Margal! Would eat here 3-4x/week. Food is still so good. They still offer the free extra rice for students.

Once a go-to place during pre-pandemic years and now has reopened and relocated to this current location. Has some great sizzling platters and breakfast options but they also serve other homecook ready-to-eat meals. The service is okay. Parking is not really available close to this place, and seating might be an issue during rush hours.

They have finally re-opened a branch near the UST campus 👌 Ilar's Tapsilogan has been one of the go-to eateries for college students near UST. They serve delicious silog, sizzling, and lutong bahay meals that are very affordable! Some of my all-time favorites in Ilar's is the famous Tapsilog, Pork Sisig, and Tapa Tips 💯 It was a great experience overall however their current branch has a very limited seating capacity and poor ventilation inside. 👍
