One of the best places to dine in UP’s area 2. Their food is really student-friendly; the siomais taste really good, too.
Brings back memories from undergraduate days - times when I needed food that would fill my tummy without hurting my wallet! The japanese siomai with rice and iskorambol were perfect for that! Don't forget to help the kids selling scrunchies!
This is the perfect place for good, quick, and affordable meals. As of the time of this review, there are not a lot of establishments offering rice meals for less than P50. This is one of those places. There are enough dumpling options available as well as gyoza and lumpiang shanghai. Their "Iskorambol" or Ice Scramble is also something I would highly recommend. It is a fun dessert treat to have to finish the meal. I only wish that the price of the add-ons are a little bit more reasonable. The stall was in an open-air location. The siomai themselves tasted particularly normal but it was an okay experience overall.
Sulit for a really cheap price! The taste and amount of serving is just right. However, their takeout containers are made of styro which is not only unfriendly to the environment, but also to our health. Better bring your own takeout container instead. It could also get cramped and hot inside but if you're short on your budget, it's already worth it.
