Went here with my mommy. Nice place & concept. Would go back with the whole fam! 🥗 Cobb Salad: Today, I learned that I’m not a big fan of blue cheese. The salad has too much blue cheese chunks, and the dressing wasn’t much. 🍣🥢Crazy Kani Maki: I like tobiko. The maki is literally just sticky rice and steamed egg(?) with kani, mayo, tobiko on top. Wasabi was spicy.

The small bites were all disappointing. It was all bland, and had the same texture surprisingly, despite having different looks. The gelato saved the day tho. I would stick to getting that if you want to try their desserts… Nonetheless, the experience of going to Joel’s place is a nice treat — whether you’re buying groceries, just looking around, or dining in.
