was honestly hesitant bc of the bad reviews but after my visit id say i disagree! ! i genuinely enjoyed my meal and would def go back. yes, it is a bit pricey, but i honestly thought it was the usual manila brunch price... the pancake had the right amount of cardamom and was salted perfectly imo, not the usual fluffy texture but i thoroughly enjoyed it. the nduja was a favorite too! the chicken burger was still good and unique but id try something else next time. great ambience and lovely staff!
if you’re not in bgc, i don’t think it’s worth going out of your way to visit, but if you’re already in the area, it’s fine to try. the pancake was probably the best i’ve had in manila, though not mind-blowing… just that there aren’t many places here that really specialize in pancakes, so the competition is limited. i liked the pancake because it wasn’t too sweet…the sweetness mainly came from the syrup, while the pancake itself had a slightly salty, almost umami flavor that complemented it really well. the texture was also great—crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. the nduja dish, …
better than scratch
Not worth the hype, everything was just okay for me. Maybe would come back to try their day menu.
Very expensive for what you get (which was not much). Not really reminiscent of Aussie / Kiwi breakfast. Pancake was just okay.
