Authentic Korean taste, a little bit on the bland side for Korean food. None the less, its still good. Priced a little premium, for premium meat and premium service. Just dissapointed that some of their banchan is single serve. I woudnt mind the steamed egg as most korean resto had a single serve rule. But the tofu and the vegetable fritter are also single serve. They also serve lesser choices of banchan compared to other korean restos. 2 pax and paid 2850 for a beef set meal is a high price and yet not all banchan are unlimited.
We tried this resto bec of it's 4.7 rating on Google and found that the positive feedback were justified. The meat was fresh and they cooked it for us so well. I like that they provide this service because we could focus on eating instead of cooking. The side dishes could only be replenished once but the first servings were generous anyway so we didnt need to ask for refills. The resto is spacious and well lighted which adds to the pleasant dining experience. It's not an unli Korean grill but what we spent is the same with what we spend at unli Korean restos. But this one has better value f…
We had an absolutely wonderful time at Jung’s Kitchen. I went out with two of my workers who have never had Korean food before and they were blown away. The marinated beef is definitely the way to go. One of the workers cooked the meat at our table and all were prepared perfectly. The kimchi was also excellent. I hope they have marble potatoes and bean sprouts next time. But the banchan was still ample and filling. The boys loved the Buddae Jiggae stew and you can see we cleared the table. Would recommend. The guys asked if we could go back tomorrow.
There's a number of Samgyup buffet restuarant in the Banawe area with emphasis on lower price points. Jung's is a bit above the average when it comes to prices. What set it apart is the quality of the meat. People start with the pork and eventually shift to beef later on after tasting the food. The unmarinated pork is really good. The marinated version is sweeter and flavor is more intense but I prefer the basic taste profile as you retain the actual taste of the meat. You can enhance the flavor later on with the sauce. What makes the dining experience more relaxing is that you can ask the st…
Standard selection but great food. Service was top notch. We ordered the cold noodles, marinated chicken, samgyupsal and bibimbap. All were delectable. The side dishes were also above average. Would go back when craving Korean food.
