Update: went back tonight and it wasn’t as good as the first time. I noticed the regular chef wasn’t there so maybe that’s why? Anyway, still good but not amazing. Don’t get the tempura. I don’t write reviews often, but this place deserves one. My family is from Osaka and I’ve never had good Okonomiyaki outside of my grandmothers house there. This was just like it. Very authentic and delicious! It’s a small restaurant with Japanese TV going in the background. Made me feel like I was right back in Japan! Going back to try all their other food next time!

Kagura is one of my favorite restaurants inside Little Tokyo. The restaurant seats only a few people, with an estimate of 15 seats inside and around 12 seats al fresco. When inside, you will notice the baseball memorabilia dedicated to the Hanshin Tigers. Kagura's specialty is the okonomiyaki, so that is a definite must-try! You have the option to choose different toppings for your okonomiyaki and also if you want it with or without noodles. The okonomiyaki serving is generous, good for 2-3 people. Ask for complimentary cold or hot tea when in Kagura.

We always come back for the yakisoba and okonomiyaki. Zaru udon was also good --- perfect chewy udon. Staff members are awesome and very welcoming. They used to only accept cash but now accepts gcash (add 15 pesos to the bill) and bank transfer.

Ended up here because izakaya kikufuji was closed -- Taco tama (octopus okonimyaki) Place is known for okonomiyaki so had to try this, it was ok, nothing special, tastes like a takoyaki Zaru udon (cold noodles) This was really good, soba was really chewy, sauce was very tasty Modern ika (squid okonomiyaki with noodles) This was something different so we wanted to try it, tasted like normal okonomiyaki but with noodles, got tired of the taste -- Cost: P400/person for 3 pax, not worth it for me Service: had to ask for service tea, we weren't offered, waiters seemed burdened whenever we a…
