Food was a hit and miss for me. There were some authentic-tasting dishes, like the Soto Mie Ayam and sweet potato patties. The Soto Betawi I ordered tasted like Pinoy Curry and didn't taste anything like what I used to eat in Jakarta. The fried veggie patties were also mostly flour at the bottom. The durian dessert is a must try if you have someone to share it with -- it's a big portion and can be too sweet because of the condensed milk they put on top. Service staffs are nice and friendly. Atmosphere suits those who need no frills dining.

I miss Indonesian food badly, so I finally tried this restaurant along Buendia. I liked how you can customize your own combo rice platter. I got a full plate with two meat viands and two veggies that costs ₱308 (inc. service charge). I had the beef rendang, sautéed green beans, tempe orek and crispy shrimp. The rendang was satisfactory but doesn’t live up to the best ones I’ve had in Indonesia and Malaysia. When I first visited this restaurant, I was amazed by the experience they offered customers, and the food was exceptional. As a fan of Indonesian cuisine, I often recommend and bring guests here. However, my last visit was disappointing due to the lack of empathy shown by their server regarding concerns about the vegetable quality.
