This humble Japanese style tiny bar has one of the best Japanese food in Bangkal area. Very subtle flavor and not too much salt, it highlights the flavors of all their ingredients. Really smart cooking! 💯

Had dinner with someone special who recommended this place. Honestly, I was nlt expecting anything different here because there are a lot of Japanese popup restos in the area and most of them have the same taste. It is not a bad thing for me that they have almost the same taste, because Japanese food always sticks to traditional taste and for me, deviating from it is a crime. We ordered the beef gyudon and tempura with pineapple juice and iced tea and it was perfect. The place has limited seats though, plus no real parking. So just take note. Affordable Japanese Restaurant at Evangelista. You're seated at the side walk but it's ok. Kitchen as well as customer's dining area are clean. Order their Sukiyaki for P299, it is good for sharing already. This hole in the wall joint is the answer whenever we are craving japanese food but a bit tight on budget. Oh... They're open until midnight too
