We only tried their Back ribs because we ate our dinner before going there. Their cabana is perfect for chilling. Easy to find way up to Mt. Tapyas. You can also see them cooking the ribs, sweet and tender!

The ribs and garlic rice were delicious. The frozen cocktails were also delicious and only $6NZD! Bargain! We had some pork that was good but a little overcooked.

We visited Karl’s BBQ three times during our stay in Coron, and their barbecues kept us coming back! The liempo and barbecue are the absolute best on the island. We also tried some of their other dishes, including sinigang, tuna steak, and stuffed squid. The sinigang was comforting, and I appreciated that they made it extra sour, just as I requested. The stuffed squid was also tasty. However, I recommend skipping the tuna steak; it was bland and dry, with the only flavor coming from the mushroom sauce. We visited Karl’s BBQ for lunch. The restaurant is just off the main road and is semi-open air which gives a nice breeze, it is not too hot. De staff was very friendly, there are a few BBQ specialities to choose from, we had the chicken which was quite good. The dishes only have meat so if you want rice you have to order it extra. The prices were okay. Certainly a great place to visit for a quick bite!
