The staff was very attentive. The food and dining experience were fantastic. For starters, I got the salmon tartare crisp. It was refreshing, bursting with flavors and textures. For the main dish, I got the truffle udon, and it was an umami bomb! A unique dish in itself. The restroom can use a bit of toilet paper. Overall, it was a good dining experience.
For what its worth it wasnt too bad. The price in comparison to the actual food/hype did not meet. In fairness the chashu bowl was amazing and was a pretty large serving, but the wagyu skirt was completely mid. It was an experience, worth a try to see if it suits you, but i would probably wont visit anytime soon.

There are plenty of Japanese restaurants who have established a reputation and following online with Ginza Gyu being one of the most promising ones. Conveniently located within Legazpi Village, we had dinner here after a spending a lazy afternoon among the many cafes within the area (i.e., Bad Café, Yardstick). Old, tired, past it's prime. Needs to be shut down, remodeled and maybe a new chef to breathe some life back into the place. Staff is under-trained and do not know the menu. Limited menu, which is fine if what you do is very good, but food is just ok. Not what I would expect. Dishes are are not as good as a Botejyu chain (see any major mall) but 3x the price.
Whether you order the wagyu or the salmon, you won’t go wrong. Everything was delicious. Serving size is also generous. Now why am I giving them a 1-star rating for service? Because there were 5 of us, so we ordered 5 rice bowls but 6 bowls were served. When we questioned why, the server said because when he repeated our order we agreed. Here are my reasons why this is such a lame service: 1. It’s truly hard to actively listen to a waiter who is repeating your order because it’s not necessarily a quiet atmosphere and I was with friends I only see twice a year, our brains are in the exciting …
