The specialty of this cafe is ube. Take not they are serving real ube. I recommend that you try their ice ube latte and ube brownies.
Their ube cake is definitely something to experience. Moist dense ube cake with a layer of ube jam topped with leche flan. Seems like a diabetic nightmare but it's not at all sweet! I can easily finish a slice of this. Seats are limited so come early, on slow hours or have it delivered.
The leche flan topped ube cake is delicious. Pairs well with coffee, or is a good dessert option to serve guests. Their staff was friendly.
We ordered the ube leche flan and the mango graham flan for delivery. The leche flan for me was too firm which wasn't a nice feeling to the mouth. The ube wasn't so good for me either with the texture being rough with some chunks in it. The mango graham was just okay as well with the graham cracker soft and not fun to eat. It was good to try but I wouldn't really order it again. It just wasn't to my taste.
Waited almost two hours for the cafe to open. Staff arrived at 9am and she had to set up the place. Upon ordering, she told us she didn’t know how to make the drinks we chose so we ordered other drinks. After 30 minutes, she served one of the drinks and she immediately realized that she forgot to make the second one. So we waited another 20 minutes for the other drink. The ube flan cake was disappointing as the cake was so hard. This was in April 22, 2024.
