Great ambiance and concept but food quality is a fail and needs so much improvement. Sat night 11pm. Ambiance Great and modern ambiance, one of the best ambiance you can find in the area, specially that they have a live singer on a Saturday night. Service Service was slow on a sat night with only 50% capacity. We had to ask for service spoons and knives everytime a food order came Food quality. Really poor. Koneksiyon Bistro Cafe in Marikina We're regulars at Koneksiyon Bistro Cafe in Marikina, and it never disappoints. I love their sweet Filipino-style lasagna, always al dente, and their crispy, not malansa chicharon bulaklak with vinegar. This time, we also tried the grilled scallops for ₱400 and enjoyed drinks like Jose Cuervo, Johnny Walker Black, Coke Zero, and Pale Pilsen. The cafe is cozy and perfect for relaxing. For a quieter visit, come in the afternoon, as it gets busy from 6 PM onwards. They close at 1 AM, with last orders around 11 PM. As a side note, they take care of stray cats…

The place is quite nice to chill out to. The food and drinks they served were good as well. Our only concern is their indoor chairs as it it too small and made us uncomfortable. If you are big person, I would not recommend to sit in their indoor chairs. Nonetheless, we are still planning to back despite the concern. :)

Ate dessert and had coffee here. I ordered their pancakes and it had leftover char in it. So the pancake had a smoky aftertaste to it. Their coffee is okay, nothing special but the Spanish latte was tooooo sweet for me. I’d customize that if you don’t like it too sweet. I like the ambiance here. I sat near the live singer outside. Inside is better for eating as a group. The upstairs is good for drinking I guess. But I would recommend having a few drinks here if you are alone, that vibe at night is hard to match. For brunch it’ll also work out as I tried it before and it was okay. Just not muc…
