me and my brother fought about my rating 😭 kouen serves authentic japanese food and tastes like it was cooked in japanese home. i only order one thing and that is the buta sutamina and its literally the best dish of my life i crave it all the time however, they only have a select number of dishes that taste good. I recommend the buta sutamina ofc, the potato salad, the gyoza and the beef kakuni.

The staff was friendly, and the service was great. They take pride in their gyoza, which was good for the price. ☺️ The ramen, however, although tasty, felt overpriced and had a small serving (in my opinion). Overall, it was a great experience in terms of value for money, and I'm eager to try their other menu items next time. However, it's not a place I would necessarily return to often or visit when craving Japanese food.
