I just saw this online and decided to try it out! If you are craving for a good food you must visit this place! Forgot the names of the dishes we ordered but I will never forget the experience here. The whole concept of this restaurant is superb, from the decorations to serving the food in banana leaf. If you are not a fan of eating with your hands (there is a place to wash your hands with soap) please bring your own utensils.

Go-to restaurant to try baler’s food. Great vibe in the place. Pako salad is super fresh and the dressing is perfect. Food are all very instagramable. Everything comes with some pako and ensalada. They have another restaurant called Gubat in Diliman QC, but the pako salad doesn’t taste the same especially the sauce

Must visit eatery at Baler! The food is great and true to its Filipino style cooking and eating. They serve the dishes in banana leaf without utensils so you have to eat with your hands. Similar to the way of eating, the ambiance is province like but the overall set up is comfortable. We will definitely revisit this place.

What’s good: Food is super great. Their pako salad is fresh and delicious. Salted egg is fresh and isn’t too salty. What’s not: Place isn’t very comfortable. Floor cushions could have help some with back problems. There were no bugs and air circulation is pretty nice at the time (night) but it could be a bit humid during the day. Price-wise: you have to pay more than usual or as expected with similar set-ups. Service: Order and pay on your own. Cash only. Food takes time since they only cook the dishes upon order. Great place to eat especially for large groups, due to the long tables. Be warned there are no eating utensils here, you eat with your hands. Everything we ordered was good, servings generous. The pakò salad was a tad sweet, but balanced with the saltes egg and juicy tomatoes. Shakes were refreshing, not cloyingly sweet. Loved this place, wouldn't mind returning.
