Looking for filipino carenderia food? This is the place to be. Bicol express, adobo, sinigang, nilaga, tinola, pancit and many more! It varies everyday. And sometimes they offer UNLI-Rice for specific dish only. They also have TV and free WIFI. :)
Nothing really out of the ordinary with the food or service but can be relied on to have tasty home cooked classics like caldereta and adobo. No air-conditioning in this place.
For its price, not bad ha! Most of their ulam is pretty good, except for some really oily dishes haha... Serving size is decent, too. It's not a place to go on a date, but if you're hungry and in a hurry — it's a smart choice to eat a quick meal (especially there are limited dining places in the area, most of which are terribly pricier) or get some takeout.
Food is so-so, but if you need a nearby Filipino carinderia style food then this is an okay place. Price is on the cheaper side (especially for their carinderia fare) and sometimes they provide unli-rice.
We ate here at around 8pm and maybe that’s why we had a bad experience? Ordered Liempo Sinigang (140php) and Lechon Paksiw (130php) Rice is served cold. Sinigang soup tasted like it was made out of Makati tap water. Bland. Lechon Paksiw is tasty but the vegetable used was not cleaned properly “maalikabok pa.” Portion “ulam to kanin ratio” is average.
