Food was good, but the service and atmosphere were lacking. The waiter serving us was in a rush and wasn’t very attentive nor welcoming. The restaurant was big with lots of seatings but barely anyone inside. And the toilets were gross. But it would be unfair for em to knock for too many stars given there wasn’t anything wrong with the food and it was actually good. The prices could be a bit lower. Would recommend if you’re really hungry and craving kare kare at jazz mall.

Everything I've ever tried from their menu is so-so. I've tried several branches already and its mostly the same experience. The quality control/assurance of their food is inconsistent. The entire experience in summation would feel like a Russian roulette. You'll never know what kind of taste/texture you're getting. You can only hope for the best. The only thing I can commend is their filipino style spaghetti pasta. If you are craving for spaghetti from pancake house and can't afford it. This is the place to get your fix. Love the ambience of this place. It’s very cosy and the dining experience is really nice. Staff is also accommodating and helpful. The most important part though – the food. They have small serving for their price point which makes them pricey. Sorry to compare but you’ll get better tasting Filipino food with bigger serving at the same price point with other resto.

"Just a typical dining experience at Kuya J" Experience is somewhat good. We were only few of the customers at the that time. Food tastes fine but the waiting time is a little bit long. I just felt that food staffs were not attentive. There was a delay in acknowledging my Maya Payment Method thru Shopee Pay QR code. It made me wait for it.
