Kuya J Restaurant in CDO is an excellent choice for an early dinner. During our visit on November 8, 2024, we enjoyed their Salo-Salo set, a delightful assortment perfect for sharing, complemented by fresh and flavorful veggies. Oh my. I’ve been waiting for this Kuya J to improve before I send a review, and now they’ve done it! I always loved their dishes, but found their serving sizes inconsistent with other branches, and even with their own branch. But during my recent visit, I was very pleased with their new combo salo meals and their portion sizes! I also noticed that this Kuya J rearranged their table arrangements and is much cleaner than before. Serving time was also fast. review for a random dinner Nov 29 2024: F&B staff are friendly. Atmosphere is good not too crowded where you can relax after spending time in traffic and looking for parking space. I was given some peanuts and crackers while waiting. Food is great. I love the crispy pinakbet its not too salty. Bangus Ala pobre was done right. Thanks Kuya J for the good dinner tonight. Food waiting time 20-25mins as this is not a fastfood. For people who are so entitled that you want your food served within 15mins please go to a fastfood chain. We waited propably around 10 minutes to get a table for two. We ordered 5 dishes on the menu however they did not alter the menu about the availability or informed us ahead that 3 of the main course are not available. Kinda disappoint me. Costumer Service is just normal, can’t say its bad , cant say its good . I dunno. 🤷🏼♂️ Food tastes are just peculiar. Nothing tastes as much. We waited over an hour for our orders. The other table who came in later than we did were served first. When our orders came, it came in batches and were not served all together. On top of that, the food was cold. They told us the salo orders are good for 3-4 people, but in reality it's just good for 1-2 people maximum. There were also a lot of hairs in our orders. Moreover, the comfort room was so dirty and smelly. The sink wasn't draining as well.
