We've dined at this restaurant before, mostly at other branches around Ortigas. The menu remains unchanged since our first visit, offering decent and standard Filipino dishes. Take note on their serving portion, whether it's a single or a salo, there's little differences in serving size, with salo being pricier but only suitable for two people sharing a meal. If you’re dining with more than 2 persons, their serving size may not be the best option. A standout for us was their dinamitas! Service and Crew no complaints.

Food is tasty we ordered scallop which is good and the squid sisig which I love the most but maybe the chopsuey needs to add a little Miss taste

Food: Grilled scallops smells bad, I requested to have it replaced but its still smells the same so we ended up not eating it. Rice is also not cooked. Service: Crews are nice, they listened to our complains and offered their apologies Atmosphere: Place is not as cozy as it was the first time we went here This is in SM Marikina Branch

I agree on some of the comments here; service really needs improvements, but it's not that bad as they do try their best and they're apologetic as our orders took so long and there were confusions on the food served. It's maybe because of the bulk of people dining and/or less manpower which affects food. Nevertheless, Kuya J is still a nice choice, though I find my favorite rosted chicken a little bit different from other branches, which is supposed to be fresh and has a very fine crisp on the skin.

It was so nice of them to accept us even if it's almost closing time. The waiting time was quick and the food they served was all freshly cooked. Waiter Ashley was very efficient, friendly and works very hard (he was the only waiter left serving several tables). Thank you Kuya J Marikina branch!
