I didn't order too much as I wasn't very hungry and was dining with another person, but my god, was the food good. My only complaint was that the waiter took a while to take my order despite that there were only about 3 groups in the whole restaurant, myself included, and one table already had their food. Anyways, the grilled scallops and pinandan na manok were delicious. Great food for a reasonable price!

The food is just alright. Not that good, but it’s not bad either. Nothing really special, just ordinary. You can definitely eat wayyy better Filipino food in other restaurants. I like their danggit rice the best. There were also a couple of food on the menu that are unavailable. In terms of service, it can be improved by training their staff more, especially with communicating with their customers and handling questions about items that are unavailable. The restaurant itself had a weird smell and some of their plates and glasses had residues on them. Hope they can improve on this.

First time trying Kuya J Restaurant. I have been wanting to try them for so long since I have been seeing and hearing them for a while. We went to dinner time, I think 1/3 of the restaurant is occupied. Food: We ordered Liempo, Monggo, Chicken Sisig. I was expecting something more than ordinary since its well known but I was disappointed. The Liempo is dry and bland. Sauce taste like Mang Tomas. Monggo was served hot with some meats.
