Only happened to find this cafe by chance when we saw a couple of kids with the Laya coffee cup in hand during a day of walking in the UP campus. We tried the Horchata and its dirty version (with coffee) and both are really good. A great way to refresh while enjoying a walk and tour of the UP campus under the usually hot, humid Manila weather.
A great place to hang out with friends, drink coffee, and meet people. Baristas are friendly and accommodating. Love the atmosphere!
Local kape / coffee joint that is getting a cult following from those who often visit the State Uni neighborhood. The coffee is priced at a very affordable range and rotates its offerings from various local brewers. The beans are well picked to match the type if drink you order as well as the brewing style. Service is informal and prompt with a stall style set up. The matching bench seating layout gives it all the more that local vibe which can be crowded especially by the biking community.
always one of my go-to stops whenever i'm in UP — it has the warm, inviting feel of a neighborhood cafe where everyone seems to know each other. perfect for casual chitchats & catch-up with friends! 🍃📚🚲🌼 #girlcaffeinatedph
Their coffee is very affordable. As a coffee lover, their coffee was just right. The only problem is they don’t have parking, so we had to park far away, but the walk was worth it.
