Bomba Ramen fell short of expectations. The broth lacked the promised richness and depth, tasting more like a diluted pork-flavored soup. The chashu pork slices were disappointingly thin and dry, lacking the melt-in-your-mouth texture expected. The noodles were overcooked and clumped together, far from the firm, springy texture typically associated with good ramen. The soft-boiled egg was overcooked, with a solid yolk instead of the gooey center that makes ramen eggs so satisfying. The bamboo shoots were scarce, and the nori was soggy and barely noticeable. Ordered Tantanmen Ramen for take out, took more than 30 minutes to complete. The noodles look like and taste like a regular pasta for spaghetti. Worst ramen ever eaten and wasted 189 pesos just for that.
