My hotel was nearby so I ate here for 2 days straight 3 times bcs theyre open during the holiday, and the staff recognizes me after the 2nd visit😂 im the no bawang girl HAHA The food fits my taste buds, its definitely chinese cuisine mixed with filipino culture bcs its quite different from the usual. I recommend the pugon roasted asado (braised dry pork, the photo on the menu was very tempting that i end up ordering) also the chami special (huge cut noodles) and theres service water here The resto also accepts debit/credit card so if you run out of cash, can pay with cards here Overall ill…
The classic asado rice and pork siomai at this heritage restaurant originally from Manila Chinatown were some of the best I’ve tasted! The manager and servers were also attentive and accommodating. It also didn’t take long for my order to arrive. Wish they would disallow passersby from loitering and squatting along the facade of the establishment. Perhaps they can provide waiting chairs for food delivery guys?
I want to start off by saying this place has amazing service. Kudos to Michael who assisted us that day. He was kind enough to give his suggestions of what to eat, and which dishes are best for take out. He was even honest on which dishes are not great for takeout and that the quality of the food wont be as good as newly served. What we got was the se-po rice and lido congee. The congee amazed me. You can taste the smokiness of the meat in the rice. It also had mushrooms and a century egg. I got the se-po, which has chorizo, drunken lechon, their famous asado with sauce on the side, some cab…
Lido Cocina Tsina offers a mixed experience. While the atmosphere is somewhat pleasant, the food falls short of expectations. The dishes I tried were bland and lacked the depth of flavor I was hoping for. The service was also average, with staff being inattentive at times. Highlights: * Pleasant atmosphere: The restaurant has a nice ambiance, with comfortable seating and soft lighting. Lowlights: * Mediocre food: The dishes were bland and lacked flavor, failing to impress. * Average service: The staff was inattentive at times, and it took a while to get our orders. Overall, Lido Cocina Tsin…
The food is good. First time to eat here. It was not crowded There were only two tables including us when we dined here but it seems like there's a lot of orders for delivery. My only problem is there were lots of mosquitos I was wearing a dress, my child had bites as well even my husband. I worry about my child so I got the attention of the server and told her that there were a lot of mosquitos biting us under the table. She just shrugged her shoulder and told me she can't do anything about it. I was disappointed. Will never come back.
