liked the tom yum more compared to the beef noodles, but all in all sulit naman for the price :)
I came at lunch time twice, one for take out and one for dine in. There’s no soup with the meal for take out, though the soup is a bit salty to me. I love chicken Pad Thai and Thai tea, because noodle soup is not my type. I’d love to try the fried rice next time.
For me, Hom Thai is a place to order affordable Thai dishes on the go. Serving time was alright. I ordered their Tom Yum fried rice and it was fiyaaaah! I appreciate the limes to change the tune a bit.
They have become my go-to place in the area whenever I want some good food without spending too much. I liked everything I tasted so far, but I do want to mention that the noodles of their Pad Thai is quite rubbery (not sure if that’s intentional) and can be a challenge to chew. Their Thai milk tea is also good. They also accept credit cards and closes late which are quite convenient.
Good value for money. Their prices could be considered cheap nowadays, most items being under 300 php. Serving size is adequate, good for 1 person. We tried their Chicken Pad Thai which tasted good and wasn’t too heavy, and Beef Fried Rice. Not oily. Plus, they serve free beef soup. Their milk tea isn’t too sweet which I liked. I’d eat here again. Could be our go-to, no-frills Thai comfort food.
